TCCSTFI educators had a memorable celebration on Teacher’s Day 2023, themed “Together4Teachers”, held on October 5th at the TCCSTFI Gymnasium. The event was filled with joyous activities that will be cherished for years to come.
The day kicked off with a colorful procession of teachers, followed by an invocation, the national anthem, and the TCCSTFI hymn. Ms. Princess Simbajon then gave the opening speech, officially starting the festivities. A vocal performance by Mr. Edward Calamba added a special touch to the program.
One of the highlights of the event was the Thanksgiving performances by student representatives from each class, who dedicated their performances to their teachers. The teachers also delighted the crowd with a surprise dance number led by Sir Louie Maguilang and his Dance Club, followed by a fun singing performance from Ma’am Cherry Mae Tero and Sir Maguilang.
The celebration continued with the awarding of the Top 5 Most Popular Teachers and a Grand Raffle for the teachers. The event also featured exciting games organized by the school’s Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and the Supreme Student Council (SSC), where both teachers and students participated enthusiastically. The oath-taking ceremony for the new SSLG Officers, led by Sir Fred Tarzona, added to the significance of the day.
World Teacher’s Day is a time to show appreciation for the educators who shape our future. It was clear from the smiles and gratitude of the teachers that this day left a lasting impression. Thank you to all the teachers who guide us toward our dreams. Happy World Teacher’s Day!
