Celebration of World Teacher’s Day 2023; Gratification to TCCSTFI School Educators “A teacher’s job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded” – Darwin Martin The event that had the educators of TCCSTFI ecstatic and delighted was Teacher’s Day with the theme “Together4Teachers,” filled with joyous activities that will contribute to the book of great memories. The program was held at the TCCSTFI Gymnasium on the 5th day of October 2023, with TCCSTFI active teachers and students. The processional of the teachers caught the attention of the crowd, where the teachers individually showed up through a short parade, followed by an invocation, singing the national anthem, and the TCCSTFI hymn. Afterwards, an opening speech was given by Ms. Princess Simbajon to formally start the program, and a vocal intermission occurred by Mr. Edward Calamba. Flabbergasting surprises and Thanksgiving performances were performed by the representatives of each class section, dedicating them to their beloved advisers and teachers. However, not only the students are capable of giving surprises, but also the teachers, from whom the students got the influence of their capabilities. Sir Louie Maguilang, along with his Dance Club members, gave an applauding dance performance that entertained the crowd. Nevertheless, Ma’am Cherry Mae Tero didn’t miss the chance to shine; she showcased her singing talent along with Sir Maguilang and made the crowd tickle. An awarding of the Top 5 Most Popular Teachers and a Grand Raffle for Teachers also occurred during the event. The teachers participated and had fun with the games launched by the school’s Supreme Secondary Learner Government and Supreme Student Council. Additionally, the taking of the oath of the TCCSTFI Supreme Secondary Learner Government was also merged into the event with the SSLG Officers along with the school principal, Sir Fred Tarzona, since the event was initiated by the SSLG with the assistance of SSC. Teacher’s Day is indeed a special day for teachers, for these memories have a special place in their hearts. There is no doubt that the teachers were genuinely glad and gratified by the efforts of the TCCSTFIans, coming from their unhidden emotions in the midst of the event. Teachers are heroes; they taught us how to grow and stand on our own two feet, and they stand as our ladders to reach the top of our dreams. Happy World Teacher’s Day!
