Embracing Sports, Culture, and the Arts in the Post-Pandemic Time’ is the chosen theme for this huge event. Tagum City College of Science and Technology Foundation, Inc. unlocks a new door of joyful experiences on its first day of celebrating its 16th Foundation Anniversary and a week to enjoy the intramurals. The students of TCCSTFI were astounded by the flabbergasting performances from the Drums and Bugles Corps (DBC), cosplays, and banner raising. Lastly, there were socio-cultural competitions including vocal solos, duets, modern and cheer dances, and the funny show held at the TCCSTFI Gymnasium on September 24, 2023. The event partially started with the collaboration of DBC, cosplayers, and TCCSTFIans through a parade that began from the Rotary Park in Tagum City to TCCSTFI School. The parade took place from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. It was divided into four groups, and the students who attended showcased their full support. The program formally started by representing the school administrators, faculty and staff, alumni, and lastly, each team with every representative cosplayer through a processional. Followed by a prayer and singing of the national anthem and hymn. Afterwards, the competition started with “Banner Raising,” followed by the vocal solo contest, modern dance, vocal duet contest, funny show, and lastly, the cheerdance. The first day of intramurals went well, as the TCCSTFIans were successfully entertained during the event.

The TCCSTFI 16th Founding Anniversary and Intramurals Celebration: A Spectacular Finale reached its climax on the final day, leaving everyone in awe of the incredible talent and energy on display. From the captivating pageantry competition to the electrifying battle of the bands, it was a day filled with excitement and entertainment. The battle of the bands was an exhilarating event that kept the audience on their feet. Various teams, including Quantum Knights, Velocity Vandals, Vulcan Heats, and Lethal Legends, showcased their musical prowess and stage presence. Each team brought their own unique style and genre, captivating the crowd with their electrifying performances. The intermission number by the feminist TCCSTFI dancers added an extra touch of excitement and diversity to the event, showcasing the talent and inclusivity of the school community. The battle of the bands results: 1st place went to Team Blue for Quantum Knights; 2nd place went to Team Yellow for Velocity Vandals; and 3rd place went to Team Red for Vulcan Heats. The championship was won by Team Violet for Lethal Legends. Their teamwork was outstanding, and their performance was exceptional! The pageantry competition, which aimed to crown the new Mr. and Mrs. TCCSTFI 2023, was a highlight of the event. The participants showcased their elegance, talents, grace, and brilliance throughout the competition. The sequence of pageantry began with a creative jeans’ competition, where the candidates flaunted their unique styles. This was followed by a presentation of their school uniforms, highlighting their pride in representing TCCSTFI. Further, the preliminary question-and-answer portion tested their wit and intelligence, while the sports attire segment showcased their athleticism and team spirit. The grand finale featured the candidates in stunning long gowns and formal attire, radiating confidence and sophistication. The final four candidates were announced, and they faced the final question and answer portion, where they impressed the audience with their insightful responses. Moreover, the Mr. and Mrs. TCCSTFI 2023 pageantry competition was an absolute spectacle! The gymnasium was brimming with students, their cheers echoing through the air as they passionately supported their teams. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, creating a pulsating energy that engulfed the entire venue. The intense competition also exerted immense pressure on the participants, fueling their determination to deliver satisfying results for their supporters and teams. Their energy was visible as they gave their all, leaving everything possible to make their teams proud. In a dazzling display of beauty, talent, grace, and brilliance, the Ms. TCCSTFI pageantry competition reached its exhilarating climax, leaving the audience in a thrill. After an intense battle, the winners emerged, etching their names in the history of TCCSTFI. Jennifer de Alca from Team Yellow Velocity Vandals soared to new heights, capturing the 1st place; Shiela Mae Suarez from Team Red Vulcan Heats claimed the 2nd place spot, mesmerizing everyone with her enchanting beauty; and Trixie Asencio, once again representing Team Yellow, secured the 3rd place position. Their poise and elegance on stage showcased their immense potential and caught the admiration of all. And finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for—the crowning of the new Ms. TCCSTFI. With a regal aura and undeniable charm, Naphtalie Peligrino from Team Quantum Knights was bestowed the prestigious title. The crown sparkled atop her head, symbolizing her triumph and reign as the epitome of grace, beauty, and brilliance at TCCSTFI. Additionally, not only did Naphtalie receive the crown, but she was also awarded more and a grand prize of 5,000 pesos, a testament to her exceptional performance and dedication throughout the competition. In the battle for the title of Mr. TCCSTFI 2023, the contestants from Quantum Knights, Velocity Vandals, Lethal Legends, and Vulcan Heats showcased their incredible talent and charisma. Cydrick Cordova from Lethal Legends emerged as the 1st place winner, while Jed Niel Bautista from Vulcan Heats secured the 2nd place. Edgardo Espinosa, also from Vulcan Heats, impressed the judges and took third place. And the ultimate champion, John Osorio from Lethal Legends, not only claimed the title but also received a cash prize of 5,000 pesos. It was a truly remarkable competition that highlighted the talent and dedication of these participants. It was truly a remarkable display of dedication and passion! The TCCSTFI intramural and foundation day celebration ended with a bang, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended. The pageantry competition and battle of the bands were the highlights of the day, showcasing the immense talent and spirit of the TCCSTFI community. It was a day filled with elegance, energy, and entertainment, truly embodying the spirit of TCCSTFI.
